Chris Langley is an artist who started out as a sculptor focusing on wood and stone. Sculpting remains very important to him, especially more abstract renditions of the human figure and landscape. Since 2005 Christopher has taken to painting. Most of his paintings are landscapes and many feature trees and plants as central characters.

Significant sources of Chris Langley's inspiration include the landscapes of his homeland, South Africa and the United Kingdom, where he currently lives.
